“Dear Twin Flame”

I wrote this poem for someone I love very much. I wanted to remind this person, and all of you reading, that you are loved. You may not realize just yet how amazing you are, but that does not change the fact that you are incredible! This poem is a reminder that self-love is the only form of love that you actually need. Self-approval is the only approval you need. Life is our teacher, and no matter how hard it may seem at times, you have everything you need to keep going inside of you. I believe in you.

Dear Twin Flame

Baby I know some days seem dark,
and the sky is filled with clouds.
I know sometimes your mind races
and the negative voices get loud.
I know you try your best to keep your spirits up,
but sometimes it feels like your spirit’s stuck…

I just hope you remember,
even on those dark days
That my love for you,
it will remain always.

And I pray the love you have for yourself grows deeper,
honestly to the point where my love is not even needed.
Because you don’t need me, and I don’t need you.
I need me, and you need you.

And I want you to realize how amazing you are!
And believe in yourself for all that you are.
Honestly I see this life taking you so far,
but I know wherever you go our souls will never be apart.

I want you to find unconditional love for yourself,
and find forgiveness for all of the pain you’ve been dealt.
Once you understand some lessons have to be felt,
life comes to teach us. We learn, and it helps.

We grow stronger and wiser and more empathetic,
more compassionate and loving and almost prophetic.
Because the more we grow, the closer we get to our Being
which is the spirit inside us.
And once we’re in touch with our Being, the magic it finds us.
I’m in love with your spirit, a soul connection it binds us.

You gotta be my twin flame, I know there’s a string that ties us.
