I cannot stress enough how life-changing reading this book was!! Since reading, I can honestly say I’ve been living my BEST life as my best self! If you’re ready to start living your best life, keep reading.
Introduction
This book is divided into 7 chapters which are, of course, the 7 steps. The chapters are relatively short and so is the book itself. There are also exercises throughout the book that include space to write in. I was able to get through this book in about 2 weeks which is record time for me. As a single mom of two boys who works full-time, short books packed with information like this are perfect. Roxie Nafousi, the author, did an amazing job of simplifying how to manifest living our best lives!
Breakdown of Chapters
Step 1: Be Clear in Your Vision. It’s important to know exactly what it is we want. We don’t need to know how or when we’re going to get it, but we do need to know what we’re working towards. Being specific when it comes to details of our future is extremely important when visualizing and manifesting our dreams. Roxie also talks about creating vision boards in this chapter. She has some great tips on what kinds of things to include, what timelines to use, where to put them, and more!
Step 2: Remove Fear & Doubt. Roxie reminds us here that our subconscious thoughts play a large role in our ability to manifest. She says, “This means that you can only manifest what you truly believe you are worthy of attracting into your life.” Many of us are bound by fear and doubt, which are feelings that will not allow us to manifest effectively. It’s important to get to the root of what’s causing these self-limiting beliefs. Roxie includes exercises to help us identify our fears, and follows with tips on how to remove them. She also includes a kind of sub-chapter within this chapter titled, “Cultivate & Practice Self-Love.” Here, she highlights the importance of loving ourselves when it comes to manifesting. Through self-love, we are going to create beliefs that we are worthy and capable of achieving our dream lives.
Step 3: Align Your Behavior. This is it!! This is the chapter that changed my entire mindset around living my best life and allowed me to actually change my daily habits to be in alignment with my dreams. Here, Roxie addresses the myth that manifesting is passive and does not require hard work. This is a huge misconception when it comes to manifesting! We have to be the energy we want to attract and we do this by consistently aligning our behavior with the person we want to be and life we want to live. This is what Roxie refers to as being proactive in our manifestation. She includes several exercises in this chapter to help us visualize our futures and what we can start doing NOW to get there. I found these exercises extremely useful in targeting habits I could start incorporating into my daily routine (which didn’t exist before I read this book lol).
Step 4: Overcome Tests From the Universe. This chapter is all about acting in alignment with our goals and believing we can reach them. At times, we will be tested to see how serious we are about what we say we want and if we really believe we deserve it. It’s difficult to say what these tests will look like since they’ll be different for everyone, but Roxie gives some great examples in the book.
Step 5: Embrace Gratitude (Without Caveats). This chapter emphasizes the importance of our feelings when trying to manifest something. Since we attract what we are, our feelings play a huge role in our ability to manifest and how quickly things come to fruition. By learning how to sustain an attitude of gratitude, we can manifest much more effectively. Think about it like this: if we already feel grateful for the things we have, the Universe will bring us MORE to feel grateful for. Since feelings can be difficult to change, Roxie introduces several techniques to help us feel grateful in our everyday lives.
Step 6: Turn Envy into Inspiration. Our negative feelings are actually messengers trying to tell us something. If we’re feeling envious about what someone else has, that’s a sign it’s something we want in our own lives. We can use that knowledge of knowing what we want to inspire and motivate us to get that for ourselves, instead of being upset and jealous (which isn’t going to move us towards our goals).
Step 7: Trust in the Universe. The final step to manifest your best life is to release control and trust the things you want are coming to you. It’s important not to be attached to a certain timeline (when) or a certain path (how). Know that you are worthy of your dream life and it will be yours in divine timing!
Conclusion
In conclusion, this book was a 10/10 for meeee! The way Roxie broke the manifesting process down into simple steps made it really easy to understand and follow. Besides that, the book was relatively short which made it easy to finish quickly. The exercises included really helped me change my mindset and daily habits too! I normally don’t find exercises built into books very helpful, but for some reason Roxie’s exercises genuinely worked. I will forever recommend this book to my family and friends! If you’re ready to live your best life and you haven’t read it yet, you definitely need to get yourself a copy!
